Our Top 3 Summer Cocktails To Help Prevent Hangovers!
With the help of Never Too Hungover (Prevention or Boost), we have come up with a list of deliciously selected cocktails that will help prevent that horrible, horrible anticipated hangover...
1. Strawberry-Infused Mint Julep
Recipe from Cookie + Kate
Ingredients:
- 1 3.5 oz bottle of Never Too Hungover
- 7 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon honey (to taste)
- 2 1/2 ounces strawberry-infused bourbon (see recipe above)
- 1 strawberry, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a rocks glass, muddle mint with a little drizzle of honey (original recipe called for 1 teaspoon superfine sugar). Pour in half of the Never Too Hungover bottle, bourbon, fill the glass with ice (preferably crushed ice) and stir until the glass starts to sweat. Add a splash or two of water, if desired, and stir again. Garnish with additional mint leaves and/or the mid-section of a strawberry (as shown in photo).
2. The Paloma
Recipe from Drizzle & Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 3.5 oz bottle of Never Too Hungover
- 2 oz. silver tequila (preferably Avion)
- 1 oz. grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- Splash of club soda on top
- Ice cubes
Directions:
Build ingredients over ice in a Collins glass and stir to chill. You can use half of the Never Too Hungover bottle to make more room for the cocktail. Garnish with a lime wedge and strawberry.
3. Spanish Sangria
Ingredients:
- 2 3.5 oz bottle of Never Too Hungover
- 1 750 ml bottle red Spanish wine
- Several cups of fresh squeezed orange juice
- 3 Oranges
- 3 Pears
- 1 bunch of basil
- 3 peach, cubed
Directions:
Slice fruit, ready to drop into a large punch bowl. Add ice to the punch bowl, along with red wine, OJ + Never Too Hungover. Stir Generously. Enjoy a glass right on the spot and/or refrigerate until serving - 4-6 hours would be ideal so the flavors can mingle. Drink within 1-2 days.
